    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Rebecca Gordan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a specialization in orthopedics and pelvic floor health. She combines her expertise in biomechanics with her background in yoga and dance to offer a holistic approach to physical therapy. Recognizing how emotional and mental stress can manifest physically, Rebecca focuses on empowering individuals through education and mindful movement, fostering both physical and emotional well-being.

  • Dayna Heckstall, LCSW

    Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    Dayna Heckstall is a Bronx, New York native with a B.S. in Psychology from Morgan State University, an esteemed Historically Black College and University (HBCU), and a Master’s in Social Work from New York University (NYU). With over 10 years of experience as a Mental Health Advocate, Dayna Heckstall is a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to supporting underserved and marginalized communities. Ms. Heckstall provides mental health services to children and families through therapy, mental health workshops and trainings, as well as consultations. Additionally, Dayna Heckstall spearheads mental health service initiatives across New York City and Westchester County. As a podcaster, mental health advocate, public speaker, and social work mentor Dayna Heckstall uses her platform to raise awareness and inspire positive change in the field of mental health.

  • Giselle Perez, NP

    Nurse Practitioner

    Giselle Perez is a Bronx native Latina. She is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in adult outpatient psychiatry at Mount Sinai West in NYC. She completed her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University and her BSN at College of New Rochelle. While working as an RN in the Emergency Department, she pursued her SNN from New York University and graduated in 2021. Her passions include providing trauma informed care through a culturally competent lens and addressing healthcare disparities.

    Licensed Mental Health Counselor

    hey there! my name is verdah kazi (they/them), and i am a licensed mental health counselor for New York state. i provide trauma-informed therapy through somatic and psychoanalytic lenses to support my clients in re-engaging with their mind-body-soul connection. when we lose this connection, we lose access to our sense of intuition and discernment necessary for resisting oppressive and traumatic environments and systems. i am a firm believer in movement as a resource and tool our bodies use to metabolize traumatic wounds and access deeper parts of ourselves that hold wisdom in protecting and supporting each of us in a persistently traumatizing world.

    OB/GYN Physician

    Dr. Mbaye is a board-certified OB/GYN in New York City where she has provided care to patients from all 5 boroughs and beyond, leading to over 700 5-star reviews on Zocdoc. Before joining ClearMD, Dr. Mbaye worked in private practice caring for pregnant and non-pregnant people as well in digital health with a focus on women’s health. She has several years of experience as a medical advisor and consultant, digital health consultant, and content creator for companies such as Natalist (acquired by Everlywell), Cofertility and Frame Health. She has written for and been featured in articles on Buzzfeed, USA today, NBC News, and Brit + Co. She is on a mission to bring empathetic, holistic, and affirming reproductive healthcare to all, with a particular focus on people of color and the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • Wynette A. Almeida, MSN, AGNP-BC, OCN

    Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner

    Wynette Almeida is an adult-gerontological nurse practitioner who specializes in cancer care at Blavatnik Family Medical Cancer at Chelsea. She completed her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at CUNY-Hunter College. She holds two national board certifications with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an adult gerontological primary care nurse practitioner as well as an adult oncology certified nurse practitioner (AOCNP). Her passion is empowering patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. Her background in primary health gives her ability to ensure patients are receiving the proper screening especially while getting cancer follow-up/care. She is inspired to bring her nine years in oncology to the preventative setting to help reduce cancer rates throughout NYC.
