Shanná Bhagan, MSPAS, PA-C

Shanná is a Bronx-native who is fulfilling her life passion as a Physician Assistant. She is an advocate for empowering her patients with knowledge so they can prevent or manage and control their chronic conditions (like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, asthma, COPD, thyroid abnormalities, arthritis). She has experience working across multiple states, which has allowed her to help people from many different cultures and backgrounds and has allowed her to provide care across multiple settings including primary care offices, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and residences. Shanná prides herself on being the best clinician for her patients so they can live their best and healthiest lives. 

Lisa Alberty MSW, LCSW

Lisa Alberty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Bronx. She attended the State University of New York, College at Fredonia where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Music industry, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts with a minor in Music and minor in Spanish. She also attended Hunter College, where she earned a Master in Social Work degree.

She has been working over the past 5 years with children, adults, seniors, immigrants, and people with chronic medical conditions. Lisa has been inspired to become a social worker after working at an after-school theatre program geared towards empowering teenage girls and having group discussions about various topics affecting women. She has used music in her social work practice to help people process their emotions.

She continues to work in an outpatient community mental health clinic in the Bronx and enjoys providing psychotherapy.

Geneus

Geneus is a Hip-Hop recording artist from The Bronx. He has performed in various venues throughout NYC, such as S.O.B's in lower Manhattan, the United Palace in Washington Heights, the City College of New York, and Syracuse University. Geneus utilizes music as a platform to share his story, connect with the people, and reflect on what came before him, what is present now and what tomorrow will be. His ultimate goals: Remain rooted to the community where his journey began; Encourage love and honesty with oneself; and sharing his flare and passions with others.

Jennifer "Beasty" Acosta

Jennifer "Beasty" Acosta was born and raised in the Soundview section of the Bronx ,New York with her Puerto Rican family where she began dancing at the early age of three. Jennifer was exposed to Hip-Hop, House,Beatbox and Salsa watching her dad, uncles, aunts and cousins at annual gatherings. Her passion for dance grew in at the age of 13, performed in various middle school and highschool talent shows, competitions, and battles. She trained and performed with NYC dance non-profit organizations including Full Circle Souljahs, Rhythm City and KR3T’s. Her signature style consists of blending old school and new style dance trends. She is proficient in many styles including Hip Hop, Break dancing, Street Jazz, Contemporary, Salsa, and African dance. Jennifer has taught dance classes/workshops to students of all ages for 8 years in after school programs including Lehman H.S, Bronx Academy H.S,St Mary's Recreation center, Apollo Arts education program, NJPAC Arts Ed,Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance also the New Settlement Dance Program for Girls. She has performed for major recording artists such as Jim Jones, Gail Scott, Ludacris, Shannon and for independent artists such as Sander Van Doorne, Mala Reignz, Lalo the Don, Meecho da don, La Roka, and Cat Manturuk. As a runway model, she worked New York Men’s Fashion week in 2018 and the 2019 New York Fashion Week with Design Artist Jahnkoy for Puma. She went on tour and performed with choreographer Cat Manturak and the Dance-Catalyst company at the 2018 Detroit City Dance Festival where she danced and was featured as a Beatboxer. Newspapers such as The Detroit Metro Times, The New York Times, The Washington Post,Bronx Times and Vogue online magazine have featured her mastery and stage presence during her various appearances. She balances her career with motherhood seamlessly while inspiring other young dancers to focus on the performance process while nurturing their artistic voice.
